The site

frontmatter tracks the component specifications of AI coding tools — facts extracted from each vendor's public documentation, with links back to the source. The site is free to read and provided as-is, with no warranty of accuracy or availability. The tools and their names belong to their vendors; we are affiliated with none of them.

The wire

The Frontmatter Wire is a paid email subscription. Your subscription is a personal, non-transferable license to receive and read it. You may quote brief excerpts with attribution. You may not republish, redistribute, resell, or systematically extract wire content — by forwarding at scale, mirroring, scraping, or feeding it into a competing product or dataset. We may end the subscription of anyone who does, without refund.

Billing

Payments are processed by Stripe, the merchant of record. Cancel any time from the billing portal; your subscription runs to the end of the period you paid for. Unsubscribing from the emails does not cancel billing — cancelling billing is the off switch.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above moves when we do. Continuing to subscribe after a change means you accept it. Questions: wire@frontmatter.dev.
